A message from the Chair of Trustees

At ILM Schools, our culture is rooted in Islam and nourished by tarbiyah the nurturing of character, manners and faith. We want every child to feel a deep sense of belonging and purpose, seeing their learning as an amanah (a trust) and their conduct as an expression of adab and ihsan.

Our aim is a calm, caring environment where Qur’anic principles and the Sunnah inform how we speak, behave and make decisions whether in the classroom, the playground or the wider community. We celebrate the rich diversity of our families while uniting around shared values.

Parents are our partners. Together, we guide our children to become confident British Muslims who contribute positively to society grounded in faith, strong in character and ready to serve others with humility and excellence.

A message from the Executive Head, Sakawat Ali

Education changes lives. At ILM Schools we set the highest expectations so every pupil is challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their very best academically, personally and spiritually.

Our curriculum is ambitious and knowledge-rich, taught by caring professionals who know each child well. We pair strong literacy and numeracy with science, humanities arts and sport, so pupils build the curiosity, creativity and resilience they need for the future. Excellent pastoral care and close home school partnerships ensure that no child is left behind.

Character and scholarship go hand in hand at ILM. We teach our pupils to think deeply, act kindly and lead responsibly so they leave us not only with outstanding results, but with the confidence and integrity to thrive in further education and beyond.

Sakawat Ali, Executive Head
